So excited to introduce you to my new sewing space! We have a 8'6" x 9' "den" in our one bedroom apartment which formerly was our guest room and dog room. After living here for 2 years and sewing for 1, I've decided I need my own space and our dining room does not need to be cluttered with crafting supplies anymore. Therefore on Saturday I took over the room and reorganized and here it is, my own little crafting space:
|
Sewing corner with lots of natural light during the day |
|
Flannel design wall - functional if not fashionable :) |
|
My mom bought me this sign - so true! |
|
Fabric, book, and supply stash |
Other than creating this little space, I did not get anything crafty done over the weekend. Hopefully will have some more projects and pics for you tomorrow.
Also, make sure you come back next Monday for my 100th post giveaway!! I've got something cute made up for one of my lucky readers - it could be you!! And if we reach 100 followers I'll have a second item to giveaway!

Welcome to world of your own sewing room, you have a nice start to your stash. After sewing more years than I want to admit, my stash has it's own room and we sew in the formal Living room, it is set up for a sewing room, since we also have a family room where the TV is.
Good job on setting up your room!!!
Yay for sewing room take-overs! It's lovely & I know you'll have great fun stitching away there. I'll be back for your 100th post!! :-)
Hooray for having your own space! I call my the "Woman Cave". After all if my husband can have a "man cave" aka the garage I should get one too! :)
How exciting... your very own sewing room/crafting space! I'd say you were very creative this weekend! Congratulations....
Great sewing room! Happy quilting!
Setting your own space makes it feel so much calmer. You don't have to move anything to have dinner...LOL! Congrats!
I'm so jealous! I wish I had a room to take over for my sewing stuff, but sadly I'm having a baby instead. ;)
I like seeing all your polka dot blocks together, but I guess I didn't realize just how big they are!
Yay for your own sewing space! Enjoy it!
